FIRST APPEAL UNDER SECTION 19(1) OF THE RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT, 2005

BEFORE THE FIRST APPELLATE AUTHORITY / DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF POLICE

1. The PIO wrongfully rejected the RTI request by citing Section 8(1)(h) without establishing how disclosure impedes investigation.
2. Information regarding basic police diary entries does not jeopardize investigation (Bhagat Singh v. CIC).

PRAYER:
Set aside the PIO's order and direct immediate supply of certified information free of cost.
